  • Everything is hard in the beginning. The best solution is to get started. Our head coach Biscuim and our members are here to help and answer any questions you might have. Once you get start you’ll be rolling in no time.

  • Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has no age limit. In fact our members average age is 45 years. BJJ benefits us by enhancing cardiovascular fitness, joint mobility, mental sharpness, and stress relief through a low-impact and leverage-based martial art.

  • Our BJJ classes start from 5 years old.

    If your child is younger our Toddlers Class will be the perfect introduction to the activities we offer at the Brazilarte Academy. They’ll develop all they need ready to step up into the activity specific classes when they turn 5.

  • That all depends on how quickly you would like to progress and positively impact your mental and physical wellbeing.

    Once a week is a great way to introduce a new activity. But it’s common to forget all you learnt the class previous.

    Twice a week and you’ll be building a practice and making progress.

    Three times a week and more and you’ll be flying in no time. This is true devotion.

  • Yes, repetitive movement will build strong lean muscle. You’ll also develop your cardio fitness as well as de-stress and improve your mental health.
