APRIL/MAY Members Update
Hey ALL!
It’s been a bumpy ole ride and we are hanging on, so here is the update for the end of April and May.
Let’s see whats happening this month.
01.
BIG UP SOUTHEND MARKET & DRUMMING CIRCLE WORKSHOP
IndiRock and Show Up Southend have founded a wonderful new makers market which happen on the last Saturday of every month.
The first one will be this Saturday.
To celebrate we’ll be hosting a workshop on each of these Saturday’s.
Join us this Saturday from 2pm - 3pm for a drumming circle.
Places have started to be snapped up, grab yours HERE
02.
BRAZILARTE SOCIAL CLUB
Also the last Saturday of every month, we would like to take the opportunity to bring us all together and celebrate our wonderful community.
We also hope that it will start a new ritual to reach out to new community members.
This Saturday we celebrate with traditional Feijoada (vegan dish available) and live music.
GRAB YOUR TICKET and bring a bottle.
Kids go free, if they would like to eat there is a £5 charge.

GOFUNDME UPDATE
We are almost halfway. Which is incredible and the support has blown us away. Thank you to everyone who has supported, offered their time and shared our link.
The Echo ran a story and featured us on the front page.
If you are able to continue to share our campaign in your circles does wonders to help keep our story in the attention of others.
We are not out of the woods yet, but there is so much love and light and we continue to fight and delve into avenues to keep the academy open.

BRAZILARTE ART SCHOOL
Our first Brazilarte Art School workshop was a real delight. Welcoming new and current faces together to create and learn new art skills.
Our monthly workshops will be scheduled on our EVENTS page on our academy website.
Look out for the next one.

BRAZILARTE CAMP 2023
Ok, so the first date didn’t work for those that got in touch and wanted to come. So we are proposing a new date:
7th August - 13th August.
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us so we can organise our booking.
We need a show of hands to see if it is better to make a group booking or whether or not we all book individually. This will depend on how many there are of us and what Rushbanks conditions are.
