SEPTEMBER update
Hey ALL!
Summer holiday’s are over and school is back in.
It’s a great opportunity to step back into routine, to install new habits that can support where you are right now to get you where you’d like to be.
Here is the news so far for SEPTEMBER.
01.
BRAZILARTE BATIZADO FESTIVAL **Date change
The summer ran away with us and with this years batizado looming we wanted to give you and ourselves more time to create a magical event.
The new dates are 25th - 27th November 2022.
The week starting 21st November we’ll be using the classes to ramp up the energy to lead into the festival weekend. We’d love for you to attend as any as you can in that week.
Festival registration will go live this Friday 9th September.
I will (try) to create a couple of payment options to accommodate all.
(I say try, I think our system can accommodate that, I’ve just never done it yet.) There will also be an early bird option to save some £££.
02.
99 by 19
We are pleased to be part of the 99 by 19 project in Southend.
We’ll be offering 6 FREE workshops at the end of September and October for the young community of Southend.
Registration will option on Friday 9th September.
Spaces are limited and are open to anyone living in Southend between the ages of 9 - 19 years.

FUNDRAISING
We will be hosting some events in Southend over the next couple of months to help raise funds for our November Festival.
If you have any ideas and would like to help, please let me know.
04.
NEW CLASSES on our weekly schedule
We have two new additions to our timetable.
Monday 5pm Members Open Mat session - this is for any member who is on one of our monthly memberships, to come and use the academy to train what they wish. It is not activity specific. There will be an instructor present to help if any is needed.
Monday 7pm Brazilian Dance - It’s back! We are excited to share traditional dances from the north east of Brazil. They are fun and a great way to workout without being too complex.
Please continue to book your classes in advance of arrival so that we can best plan for the number or students in each class.
Any problems booking your classes, please let me know.
05.
CAPOEIRA WHITES PRE-ORDER OPENING
We are opening the Pre-Orders for Capoeira Whites.
You are expected to wear these, if you are training Capoeira for more than a month, at every class. If you or your child doesn’t have any yet, please pre-order them so we can have them made in time for our festival.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Would you like to volunteer to help organising our annual festival in the lead up and during the event? Please let me know so I can add you to our list.
As a volunteer you’ll get a FREE limited edition Brazilarte t-shirt and a big hug from me and Biscuim. Over 14’s only please.
07.
LASTLY HELP NEEDED
We have decided to freeze our prices this year.
It was a hard decision to make as we see every other business raising theirs and we know it’s going to be a tough time for us, but we don’t want to exclude any of our community.
So in return we need your help.
To combat the rising costs we need more members.
Here are a couple of ways you can get involved and support us:
We’ll be launching a new referral programme next week which we’d love for you to support. You’ll receive a gift when they sign up.
Share our social media posts on your channels and groups.
Share our FREE TRIAL offer with your friends and family.
